So you’re interested in contributing to Pro-Sarah.com and you want to know how to do it. Alright this will tell you how!

Let’s start with the rules!

The Rules of a Rookie Contributor.

#1 Read the terms Terms Of Service/Agreement.

#2 Until you have been given permission the only category for which you will be posting your contribution to is “Uncategorized”. There will be an instant one strike and your out rule. If you fail to abide by this rule you will be demoted to “Subscriber” status. Until at least August 29, 2010 any new registrant is automatically given “Contributor” status. After you have read this Handbook and demonstrated you can successfully submit a post for approval you will be given “Author” status which allows you to instantly contribute your posts in the “Uncatagorized” category. Once you have built enough trust and good faith April-Liesel will give you permission to post in more categories. Remember until you are given permission to post anywhere else the only category you may post in is “Uncategorized”.

#3 Every post must have a photo or image attached to it. And the first image that is attached to a post must be sized 400px by 300px. You do not have to insert that image into your post. So make sure you have an image or photo for your post and size it to 400 pixels wide by 300 pixels high or in technical terms Width = 400 pixels and Height = 300 pixels. Make sure your image is an acceptable file for example, .jpg and .gif. So now that you’ve got an image for your post then you’re set. Now if you’re submitting your first post you will need to get a flickr account or photo bucket account to upload your first image associated with your first post to. Alternatively you can also upload your image to your facebook account. Upload your image and make note of the url in order to share the image.

In Depth, Step By Step On How To Contribute Your First Post

Now this will walk you through this step by step. If you know some of these steps just skip to the steps or step you need and then take it from there. If not let’s begin your journey to your first contribution!

Step 1 – Register & Join THE PEOPLE
If you have already registered then you can skip to Step 2 – Login. Think of a user name that is easy to remember and think of the email address you want to use. There are two ways to sign up. If you want to sign up using the most visually appealing then you can go sign up in the front. If you choose “the front” you will get to fill out your basic profile right away. The other way isn’t as visually appealing but you’ll use this method the most if you choose to be a regular contributor and that’s in the back. If you choose “the back” all you need to do is fill out your desired user name and email address. After you have filled in your information and submitted it check your email and there you will find a generic password. This is to verify that your email address is valid and not spam.
